ABOUT AYELET.......

Born in Israel, Ayelet Blumberg began her performing arts career as a classical ballet dancer at the age of 6. At 8 years old, Ayelet and her family moved to America and her ballet training took off. While training at the University of Louisville Dance Academy, a visiting acting professor suggested that she also explore acting as he sensed she had a natural talent for it.

Ayelet heeded his advice and took summer classes with Stage One, a Children’s Equity Theater. Subsequently Ayelet was cast in Romeo & Juliet with Stage One and there began her acting career.

When, at age 16, Ayelet was forced to give up dancing due to physical injuries, she turned her focus to acting. Ayelet attended Walden Theatre during high school and prepared for college conservatory auditions by taking Master Classes and performing in plays such as Shakespeare's PERICLES and William Mastersimone's BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD - a commentary piece on school shootings in America. She also worked behind the scenes at Actor's Theatre of Louisville and participated in numerous acting programs and workshops in and around Louisville.

Ayelet’s extensive training and performance experience culminated in her acceptance to The Hartt School at The University of Hartford where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2004. Ayelet also studied at the Bordsley Institute in Birmingham, England with actors and directors from The Royal Shakespeare Company and at Circle In The Square Theater School in Manhattan.

Upon graduation, Ayelet moved to New York City in August of 2004. She continues her training by attending classes, both group and private, and has been acting in theater, film and television. She is currently free-lancing with a manager.
